McCurdy's Restaurant

Our restaurant is named after John Alexander Douglas McCurdy, close associate of Alexander Graham Bell. Read more about the story of McCurdy's and the first powered flight in the British Empire.

Featuring a blend of Cape Breton recipes and dishes including our famous Taste of Nova Scotia Buffet[s].

Coffee & Oatcakes at Sunrise 5:30 to 6:30 a.m.
Coffee, tea, and oatcakes are available in the Observation Lounge for early risers to enjoy, perhaps while on a stroll through the trails or visiting our lakeshore gazebo. 

Cape Breton Country Breakfast 7:00 to 10:00 a.m.
Serving an à la carte breakfast menu as well as a breakfast buffet priced at  $12.95 per person, and half price for children 12 and under!

Cape Breton Picnic Lunch (advance notice required)
Just ask the Guest Services Representative at the front desk and we'll be happy to have a lunch packed and ready to go for your day's touring the next morning, or to relax and enjoy while staying on the property.

McCurdy's evening menu features unique à la carte recipes from the land and the sea. Our popular Taste of Nova Scotia buffet of local dishes includes appetizers, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages. A terrific value at only $26.95 per person and half price for children 12 and under!
