Silver Dart Lodge and MacNeil House Suites are conveniently located in the village of Baddeck, in the center of Cape Breton Island. Baddeck has long been referred to as the start and finish of the Cabot Trail and features a charming lakeside boardwalk, perfect for an evening stroll.

From Sydney

Take Highway 105 West to Baddeck. Take exit 8 into Baddeck and we are located just off the highway on the left hand side of the road. 

From Amherst

Travel east along the Trans-Canada Highway 104 through New Glasgow, Antigonish and across the Canso Causeway. At the rotary, take the second exit, Highway 105 to Baddeck. Take Exit 8 into Baddeck and we are located just off the highway on the left hand side of the road. 

From Halifax

Halifax International Airport is a three and a half hour drive from our Lodge. Take Hwy. 102 through Truro, then east along the Trans-Canada Highway 104 through New Glasgow, Antigonish and across the Canso Causeway. At the rotary, take the second exit, Highway 105 to Baddeck. Take Exit 8 into Baddeck and we are located just off the highway on the left hand side.
