• A taste of farm life as experienced by the early Scottish settlers at the Nova Scotia Highland Village Museum captures the lifestyle of the late 1800's.

• The Gaelic College of Celtic Arts and Crafts at St.Ann's is the only Gaelic College in North America where the Gaelic is taught, as well as piping, drumming and Gaelic singing. Daily traditional ceilidhs are performed for the enjoyment of visitors.

• We highly recommend a visit to the Celtic Music Interpretive Centre in Judique.  Music, dancing, and more.

• Visit the Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design where creativity, craftsmanship, beauty, and function find expression in the work of Cape Breton artisans.

• For nine days in October, Cape Breton Island is home to a unique celebration of music and culture as the Celtic Colours International Festival presents dozens of concerts all over the island.

• Tour the only single malt whisky distillery in North America.

• Check out the annual Feis an Eilein Festival.

• Boating enthusiasts enjoy 450 square miles of fog-free waters on the Bras d'Or Lakes beautiful inland sea, one of the best sailing locations in the world.
